Job Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager – Group Technology to lead the successful delivery of strategic technology projects. This role is responsible for ensuring end-to-end project execution, from planning through implementation, while maintaining high standards of quality, cost efficiency, and stakeholder collaboration.
You will play a key role in enabling network expansion, integrating innovative technologies, and enhancing customer experience directly contributing to organizational growth and business success.
The Job
- Define project scope, deliverables, and governance frameworks
- Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource forecasts
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses
- Align projects with business and network expansion priorities
- Lead end-to-end project implementation within scope, time, and budget
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues proactively
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely execution
- Perform post-implementation reviews and ensure benefits realization
- Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards
- Evaluate deliverables and drive continuous improvement
- Oversee vendor onboarding and lifecycle coordination
- Track KPIs, budgets, and resource utilization
- Prepare dashboards and reports for senior management
- Support audits (internal/external) and maintain ISO documentation
- Ensure smooth transition of completed projects to operations
- Support network development, maintenance, and upgrades
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve performance and reliability
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage documentation, contracts, approvals, and financial processes
- Maintain effective stakeholder communication and coordination
The Person
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Computer) or Project Management
- Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience in project management within the technology or telecommunications sector
- Experience managing large-scale engineering projects (preferably telecom)
- Exposure to high-value project budgets is an advantage
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office suite
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
