Electronic Technician
We are looking for an electronic technician to set up, maintain and repair electronic systems and devices. You'll test system performance, analyze and report on results.
Key Activities include:
- Install, configure, and test electronic systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic faults and issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, soldering irons, and testing devices.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians for system improvements.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Essential Skills Include:
- NVQ / Diploma / Certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment.
- Technical problem-solving ability
- If required, ability to work long hours and travel around the island.
