Engineering Executive | Kelanimulla
Empire Teas is seeking a proactive and results-driven Engineering Executive to support engineering, maintenance, and facility management functions across our tea processing and export operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, utilities, and infrastructure while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment and facilities.
- Monitor the performance and reliability of machinery, utilities, and building services.
- Support engineering projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and service providers on engineering-related requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues to minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain engineering records, reports, and maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in the tea, food processing, FMCG, or export industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem- solving skills.
- Good knowledge of maintenance planning and facility management.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
