Job Description
We are seeking a talented and qualified Optometrist to join our leading eye Hospital. You will be expected to use your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care. Duties will include conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, assessing patients' visual acuity, and coordinating with eye specialists. The ideal candidate should be customer service-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Routine eye inspections
- Identify the patient's visual acuity
- Diagnose sight problems, such as refraction errors and color blindness
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Maintain accurate files for all patients
- Promote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care techniques
- Identify and assess eye defects and diseases, and refer to specialists
Requirements
- Professional qualification in optometry
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in refraction
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service oriented with excellent analytical skills
