Accountant
Are you an ambitious financial leader ready to make a massive impact? We are looking for a hands-on manager who can strategically clear a multi-year backlog of unfiled annual accounts and tax returns while modernizing our day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for transitioning our business to a modern cloud-based accounting system, tracking project profitability for our high-end weddings, and managing inventory and cost controls for our production unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the immediate reconciliation of historical data and ensure total statutory and tax compliance.
- Implement and manage cloud accounting software (such as QuickBooks Online) to handle dual-unit operations.
- Provide strategic managerial accounting insights, including customized budgets and projected cash flows, to guide executive decision- making.
- Evaluate cost efficiency within the production unit to fix pricing, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Oversee a support team of executives and interns to maintain daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
