We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our Kandy branch workshop. The selected candidate will report directly to the Branch Manager and will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining multibrand vehicles. The role requires ensuring high-quality service delivery, adherence to safety standards, and effective use of diagnostic tools to support smooth workshop operations.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical vehicle issues.
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct inspections to ensure safety and performance standards.
- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment effectively.
- Maintain accurate service records and workshop cleanliness.
- Follow workshop safety procedures.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in automotive mechanical repairs (European, Japanese and Indian vehicles)
- Knowledge of scanning and repairing hybrid vehicles.
- Experience in servicing European vehicles will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
- Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Minimum NVQ Level 04 qualification completed from a recognized institute.
- Strong problem-solving skills and good work discipline.
