About Us
We are a 100% Australian-based Health Care company looking for a suitable candidate for the job role of Accounts Officer for our Sri Lankan office. We work exclusively with aged care facilities in Australia to support their staffing needs of health care workers.
Role Overview
As an Accounts Executive, you will work closely with the finance team to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial information, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process with accuracy and timeliness. Resolve payroll-related issues and employee queries promptly.
- Enter weekly payroll journals into the accounting system.
- Prepare and process quarterly superannuation payments.
- Generate and issue client invoices; record sales transactions in the system.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and related issues. Issue client statements and ensure accuracy of billing records.
- Monitor debtors, ensure timely payments, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports. Perform ad hoc duties and provide support to management as required. Be available to join immediately.
Qualifications
- Academic or professional qualification in similar background (BSC/ACCA/CA/CIMA)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Committed, responsible and able to work under pressure and limited time frames
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Operating effectively in a complex, high-volume environment with multiple group entities
- Having experience in working with different accounting systems (Preferable MYOB)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications
