JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for achieving set targets in gold financing, maintaining and developing a quality portfolio, and executing business operations support on gold financing business and sales activities. Ensures the provision of greater customer service and business advice on gold financing matters while actively promoting unit services among the staff and clients
JOB PROFILE
- Marketing of the Gold Loan products to potential customers to enhance the portfolio.
- Developing promotional activities regularly to enhance the business and negotiating pawning facilities with clients.
- Attending to marketing campaigns and supporting the unit to achieve set business targets.
- Checking gold articles, performing valuation and assessment of articles, and negotiating with customers regarding advances under given guidelines.
- Testing all gold jewellery with densimeter, touch stone, and acid tests to record weight and karatage in the Gold Valuation Report.
- Ensuring adherence to all operational processes and guidelines while advancing within approved limits.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Passed GCE (A/L) Examination.
- Possess a minimum of 2-3 years of pawning/gold financing experience in a recognized financial environment
- Knowledge of the evaluation of gold content and the ability to identify fake and dud gold is essential
- Knowledge on evaluation of gold content in gold articles.
- Strong communication and Negotiation Skills
