R&D Executive - Process Improvements & Projects
Job Summary:
The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out process development and process improvement projects, overseeing customized product fabrication projects, and creating guidelines for product manufacturing and packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out process development and process improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
- Oversee and deliver customized product fabrication projects, including sample development and finalization of manufacturing processes.
- Introduce new processes and technologies to expand and improve operational capabilities.
- Develop guidelines for product manufacturing and packaging.
- Identify and implement kaizens to address production breakdowns and improve efficiency.
- Provide secondary packing support and solutions as required.
- Take initiative in introducing new machining techniques and improvements to existing products.
- Manage and guide operation technicians assigned to the department.
- Coordinate with production, quality, marketing and other relevant teams during development tasks.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess
- BSc. (Hons) degree; a degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience; experience in manufacturing or R&D sectors is desirable.
- Should be physically fit.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, decision making and communication skills.
