Operator - Forklift
Purpose:
To safely and efficiently operate the forklift for loading, unloading, and internal movement of pallets and materials while supporting receiving, dispatch, and warehouse operations in accordance with safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Load outbound vehicles accurately and efficiently.
- Unload inbound vehicles and transfer cargo to designated staging areas.
- Perform internal pallet and material movements within the warehouse and yard.
- Support receiving, put-away, picking, and dispatch operations as required.
- Conduct daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Ensure safe handling of products to minimize damage.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and MHE operating standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper operating condition of the forklift.
- Assist with stock transfers and inventory verification activities when required.
- Support warehouse productivity and customer service targets.
