Manager - Engineering
Job Summary:
The selected candidate will take on a high level of responsibility and ownership for the Engineering department. You will lead engineering operations with a specialized focus on electrical systems and industrial automation to ensure maximum equipment reliability, operational continuity, and plant efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and team management for the engineering division.
- Direct and oversee electrical engineering maintenance across the industrial plant.
- Manage plant maintenance, electrical systems, and industrial automation to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Lead project management initiatives and execute preventive maintenance, predictive, and reliability engineering programs.
- Apply good decision making and problem solving abilities to drive maintenance excellence and resolve operational breakdowns.
- Utilize good communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain a high level of responsibility and ownership over plant infrastructure, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering maintenance or within an industrial plant.
- Proven experience in plant maintenance, electrical systems, and industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience in project management, alongside preventive maintenance, predictive, and reliability engineering.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Good decision making and problem solving abilities.
- Good communication skills.
- A demonstrated high level of responsibility and ownership.
