Consultant - IT Network & Infrastructure | Colombo
BOC IT Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of the Bank of Ceylon is looking for suitably qualified, experienced, dynamic and results oriented persons to fill the following position.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline obtained from a local or foreign university, recognized by UGC of Sri Lanka.
- Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
Certifications
- Professional Certification in following IT disciplines will be an added advantage
- ITIL v4, COBIT 2019, PMP/PRINCE2
- Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), Microsoft (MCSE/Azure), VMware (VCP), Red Hat (RHCE), or equivalent
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.)
Previous Work Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT networks and infrastructure operations, with at least 7 years in a senior or consultancy position
- Proven experience in managing large-scale data centers, enterprise networks, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience in the banking, financial services, or government sector is an added advantage.
- Experience supporting Computer Operations environment System Performance, Alerting, Incident Management)
- Understanding of disaster recovery concepts and strategies
- Knowledge of data centre electrical and mechanical infrastructure as well as fire detection/suppression and security systems
- Experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships
- Experience working in a process structured environment (I/S Change Management, Industrial Maintenance and Interior Construction)
- Experience with personnel management
- Ability to influence others to, as a group or individually, achieve organizational goals
