Assistant Professor - Department of Computer Science

The Faculty of Computing of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology is the home of more than 190 academic staff and an ever-growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
We are inviting highly qualified and dynamic individuals with a passion for teaching and research to join us as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science.
Applicants must hold a four-year bachelor's degree with 1st or 2nd Class Honours and an earned doctoral degree or three-year bachelor's degree with 1st or 2nd Class Honours or a pass in a four-year bachelor's degree and a master's degree at SLQF Level 9 equivalent or above and an earned doctoral degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field:
- Software Engineering
- Data Science
- Artificial Intelligence
- Machine Learning
Applicants should have at least six years of demonstrated competence in research, teaching and/or industry practice after the bachelor's degree and a strong publication record in reputed research journals is required.
