The Civil Engineering Intern will assist the engineering team in the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of construction projects. The role provides hands-on experience in site supervision, quality control, project documentation, and compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in supervising construction activities and site operations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress.
- Support the preparation and review of technical reports, drawings, BOQs, and project documentation.
- Assist with quantity measurements and material tracking.
- Monitor compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and health and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders as required.
- Maintain accurate project records and daily site reports.
- Perform other engineering and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- A basic understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to work on-site and learn in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
