Restaurant Managing Supervisor

Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced and energetic ''Restaurant Manager'' to oversee the daily operations of our outlet. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the business, ensuring excellent coordination between the front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams.

Your goal will be to maintain high standards of traditional food quality, maximize customer satisfaction, keep the venue highly profitable, and lead the staff by example in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Service Excellence
  • Coordinate and supervise day-to-day Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) operations.
  • Maintain the restaurant's image by ensuring pristine dining area cleanliness and professional staff grooming.
  • Interact warmly with guests, manage floor seating capacity during peak rush hours, and maintain a superior level of customer service.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any complaints quickly and professionally.

Food Quality & Safety Compliance
  • Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols across the kitchen and dining floor in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Regularly audit food preparation, presentation, and portion control to ensure consistent taste profiles and quality.
  • Monitor kitchen storage and the freshness of incoming raw materials.

Inventory & Cost Control
  • Control operational costs, minimize food wastage, and eliminate pilferage through routine stock audits.
  • Review daily/weekly sales reports and manage targets for labor and food cost percentages.

Team Leadership & Staff Management
  • Manage duty rosters, shift schedules, and monthly manpower planning to optimize labor costs while ensuring adequate floor coverage.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new service and kitchen staff.
  • Appraise staff performance, resolve minor employee conflicts on the spot, and foster a positive, productive team environment.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of employee hours and attendance data for monthly payroll processing.

Job Requirements & Skills
  • Experience: Proven track record of 3 to 5+ years as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a busy casual dining, high-volume, or Indian restaurant environment.
  • Technical Skills: Competency with modern Point of Sale (POS) billing systems and basic MS Excel for daily operational reporting.
  • Leadership: Strong team-building capabilities, clear communication skills, and an excellent problem-solving aptitude under high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including split shifts, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Education: A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Operations, or a related business field is highly preferred.
