Executive - Health & Safety
Dipped Products PLC seeks a dynamic, results-oriented individual to be recruited as Executive- Health and Safety for its manufacturing facility in Biyagama.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure zero incidents at the factory
- Compliance with all OHS compliance according to local and international requirements
- Conduct HIRA/ HAZOP to identify potential risks and introduce appropriate controls.
- Liaise with factory teams to executive OHS-related Programs Initiate/conduct safety training for employees
- Regularly conduct observation/inspection at premises and the work of personnel to identify non-conformity
- Investigate incidents to determine causes and execute corrective and preventive measures
Candidate Profile
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering related field / Diploma in OHS from a recognized institute with 2 years' Experience OR Experience in HSE in more than five years.
- Qualifications in the National Examination Board of Occupation Health and Safety (NEBOSH) will be a definite advantage.
- Working with 3rd party teams/Construction-related safety experiences will be an advantage of this position.
- Knowledge of ICTAD safety regulations, internal auditing on OHSAS 180001/ISO 450001
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to present and explain health and safety-related areas.
- A candidate having a comprehensive understanding of fire safety / Chemical safety will be drawing more advantages for this position.
- Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
