Credit Control Executive
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment and customer credit evaluation.
- Experience in preparing accounts receivable ageing reports, collection forecasts, and management reports.
- Ability to negotiate payment plans and resolve customer disputes professionally.
- Familiarity with legal recovery procedures and debt recovery practices will be an added advantage.
- Experience in coordinating with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to improve collection performance.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, CMA, or AAT will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in credit control, accounts receivable, debt collection, or a similar finance role.
- Experience in managing customer credit limits, collections, overdue receivables, and customer account reconciliations.
- Sound knowledge of credit control procedures, accounts receivable management, and cash collection techniques.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound credit decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Age below 35 years.
