Maintenance Technician (Junior Executive Grade)

JOB SUMMARY:
Overall responsibility of providing comprehensive technical support for maintaining company branches and office facilities. This role focuses on coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, monitoring external vendor services, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and highly operational working environment across all company locations.
JOB PROFILE
- Attend to and coordinate day-to-day maintenance requirements of branches and the head office. Conduct regular premises inspections to identify and log maintenance needs.
- Coordinate and execute repairs related to electrical systems, air conditioning systems, plumbing,civil/building structures, furniture, and standard office equipment.
- Maintain and execute preventive maintenance schedules for company facilities and equipment while attending to breakdown requests swiftly to ensure minimal disruption to branch operations.
- Actively coordinate with external vendors and service providers, monitoring their work progress, verifying quality standards, and maintaining performance records before payment recommendations.
- Oversee branch air conditioning performance, coordinate AC servicing, and manage CCTV/security system maintenance, troubleshooting, and service agreement renewals in alignment with the IT team.
- Provide technical support during branch relocations, renovations, and new branch setups.
- Assist in maintaining precise asset verification records, tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Certificate (NVQ Level 3 or 4) in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or a related technical discipline.
- Certified course completion in AutoCAD/Technical Drawing and BOQ Preparation is a distinct advantage.
- 1–3 years of proven experience in facility maintenance, technical support, or a closely related engineering and maintenance fields in a Financial Institution or Service Industry.
- Sound understanding of AC systems, complex electrical works, CCTV systems, and general building maintenance protocols.
- Good command of English and Sinhala languages; ability to speak Tamil will be a distinct advantage.
- Possesses excellent analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
