Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnosis, servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance of tractors and agricultural machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Conduct inspections and identify faults to ensure optimum equipment performance
- Attend field service requirements and breakdowns when necessary
- Maintain service records and ensure compliance with company service standards
- Provide technical support and recommendations to customers and internal teams
Requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Auto Electrical, Motor Mechanic, or a related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical repair and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of tractors and agricultural machinery
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults
- NVQ Level 4 qualification and tractor repair experience will be an added advantage
- Valid driving licence will be an added advantage
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
