Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (Pvt) Ltd. in partnership with William Angliss Institute (RTO No.3045), Australia, is the largest private specialised training center for Hospitality, Foods, Events, and Tourism in Sri Lanka. We are located within the SLIIT Main Campus in Malabe, Sri Lanka.
JOB PROFILE
- Oversee daily kitchen operations in the industry placement kitchen
- Supervise and guide culinary students during their practical training
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and professional presentation standards
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards
- Support students in developing industry-level skills and discipline
- Coordinate with academic staff regarding student performance and training requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Chef in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or catering organization.
- Diploma/degree in commercial cookery, or related field
- Prior experience in culinary education or student mentoring is a must
- A passion for teaching and developing culinary talents in youngsters.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work full-time and manage kitchen operations independently
