Lecturer - Hotel & Hospitality Management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel & Hospitality Management, or a related discipline. (Master's Degree preferred.)
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry and/or higher education teaching experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial kitchen.
- Demonstrated expertise in hotel operations, hospitality management, food & beverage and hospitality operations
- Previous lecturing or training experience in a recognised higher education institution will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong command of English language.
- Ability to develop lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources.
- Passion for mentoring students and preparing them for the hospitality industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures and practical learning sessions in Hotel & Hospitality Management.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and learning resources.
- Mentor and support students throughout their academic journey.
- Ensure high standards of academic quality and student engagement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous programme improvement.
- Maintain accurate academic records and participate in departmental activities.
