ROLE OVERVIEW
The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing day-to-day security operations while ensuring service excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness. The role alse plays a key commercial function by contributing to company revenue through acquisition of new business and expansion of existing client portfolios.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Management
- Pian, coordinate, and supervise multi-site security operations
- Ensure effective deployment, discipline, and performance of security personnel Implement SOPs, security protocols, and risk mitigation measures
- Maintain operational readiness and manage emergency and incident responses
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure service excellence
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and client performance reviews
- Address service issues promptly and implement corrective actions
- Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Actively contribute to company revenue by acquiring new security contracts
- Identify new business opportunities and participate in client meetings
- Support tenders, proposals, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations
- Upsell and cross sell additional security services where applicable
- Compliance, Quality & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and licensing requirements
- Oversee audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Promote health, Safety, and security best practices across all operations
- Reporting & Risk Management
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in security operations
- Proven leadership managing large teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, or Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and commercial acumen,
- Military/defense experience, or prior senior management experience from Tri Services or above
