Senior Assistant - Business Analysis
Job Profile
- Prepare monthly Business Unit performance reports and KPIs for Cards, Leasing, Consumer Assets & Deposits.
- Prepare and submit external reports for CBSL, AMEX & Diners on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly card provisioning and ensure timely posting of system entries
- Reconcile and ensure completeness of reconciliations relating to Cards
- Monitor card-related MIS and profitability reports across various segments and products.
- Assist in preparing Forecasts, Annual Budgets and Board Packs for the Consumer Banking segment.
- Assist in data extractions for MPP/NPP and actuarial valuations.
- Handle and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests from the business users.
Special Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with BI Tools (e.g., Tableau) and data modelling will be a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements to derive meaningful insights and reporting solutions.
- High attention to detail with the commitment to maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision.
Experience & Qualification
- Final-year undergraduate or graduate in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Qualification / part qualification in CIMA, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in banking/ financial analysis.
- Prior experience in Consumer Banking, Cards business/ analytics, customer profitability, portfolio analysis, and performance reporting is preferred.
