Position overview
We are looking for a highly organised professional to oversee and manage all our monthly social media retainer accounts. This role will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, quality delivery, client satisfaction, and team coordination across all retainer projects.
Role Responsibilities
Retainer Management
- Manage teams involved in the planning, execution and delivery of multiple digital media retainers
- Ensure retainer deliverables are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for retainer clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Maintain client satisfaction through proactive communication and strategic recommendations.
Content Strategy & Social Media
- Develop social-first content strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Stay up to date with platform trends, emerging content formats, audience behaviour, and best practices.
- Guide creative teams on content that performs, identifying what works, what doesn't, and why.
- Review and refine content calendars to ensure relevance, creativity, and performance.
Process & Operations
- Design and implement scalable workflows for managing digital retainers.
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency, collaboration, and resource utilisation.
- Develop SOPs, templates, and quality control measures to ensure consistent delivery across accounts.
- Monitor workload and resource allocation across retainer projects.
Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop integrated digital and social media strategies for existing and prospective clients.
- Lead strategic presentations and pitch recommendations with confidence.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to support new business opportunities, including proposal development, presentations, and client pitches.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing retainers through additional services and strategic initiatives.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- 5+ years of experience in social media operations, account management, or digital agency roles
- Proven experience managing retainer-based clients
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content cycles, and campaign execution
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage pressure, deadlines, and multiple accounts
- Experience working with creative and performance teams is a strong plus
- Agency background, Experience managing senior clients or enterprise retainers.
- Knowledge of video games & Esports.
- Exposure to analytics, reporting, and performance optimization
