Production & Quality Supervisor | Moratuwa - Male
Lakru Packaging Industries is a leading eco-friendly industrial paper sack manufacturer in Sri Lanka, serving the construction, food, tea, and export sectors. As part of our operational expansion and continuous improvement journey, we are looking for a dynamic and responsible individual to join our production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production operations and coordinate factory activities.
- Monitor production efficiency, output targets, and machine/workflow performance.
- Ensure product quality standards are maintained throughout all production stages.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and monitor defect control procedures.
- Coordinate with the production team to minimize downtime and operational delays.
- Maintain production, quality, and daily operational records accurately.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, GMP, 5S, and company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
- Handle worker coordination, discipline, and shift supervision when required.
Candidate Profile:
- Successfully completed GCE A/L
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production supervision, or quality control will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of quality systems, GMP, HACCP, or ISO standards is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage factory-floor operations effectively.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting documentation.
- Willingness to work extended hours when operationally required.
