- Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Your Role
As a Senior Financial Planning Associate, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by managing client relationships, preparing advice documentation, coordinating with Australian insurance providers, and ensuring all client files meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
You will become an integral member of a professional Australian advisory team delivering high-quality financial advice to clients across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Adviser & Paraplanning Support
- Prepare client meeting packs, fact finds, file notes, and adviser documentation.
- Assist Financial Advisers with research, insurance comparisons, underwriting support, and strategy modelling.
- Prepare and draft Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and other financial planning documentation for adviser review.
- Assist with client presentations and implementation of advice.
- Monitor outstanding client actions and follow up after adviser meetings.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a professional point of contact for Australian clients via phone and email.
- Manage new business applications and policy implementation.
- Liaise with insurers regarding underwriting requirements, policy alterations, and client servicing.
- Coordinate medical, financial, and lifestyle underwriting requirements.
- Support claims processing and ongoing policy administration.
- Maintain excellent client service throughout the advice process.
Compliance & Administration
- Maintain accurate client records within XPLAN.
- Ensure all client files comply with ASIC and AFSL requirements.
- Manage adviser workflows, calendars, and ongoing tasks.
- Assist with compliance audits and file reviews.
- Prepare reports and maintain professional documentation.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
- Previous experience working within the Australian Financial Planning, Life Insurance, Wealth Management, or Financial Services industry.
- Experience in one or more of the following roles:
- Financial Planning Associate
- Paraplanner
- Client Service Officer
- Adviser Support Officer
- Wealth Management Administrator
- Insurance Administrator
- Financial Planning Assistant
- Good understanding of:
- Australian Financial Services Industry
- ASIC Regulatory Framework
- AFSL Compliance
- Risk Insurance Advice Process
- SOA & ROA Documentation
- Underwriting Procedures
- Experience using one or more of the following platforms:
- XPLAN
- AdviserLogic
- Life Risk Online
- or similar Australian Financial Planning software
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, proactive, and client-focused attitude.
Qualifications
- Degree in Financial Planning, Commerce, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- RG146 or Tier 2 qualification will be an added advantage.
- Relevant Australian industry experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
