Solar PV Technician - Browns Group Industrial Park (Pvt) Ltd | Katunayake
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems
- Perform electrical wiring, testing, and commissioning of solar installations
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities
- Diagnose and repair faults in solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated equipment
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation
- Support project teams in ensuring efficient and reliable system performance
Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma, or NVQ in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Experience in Solar PV installation and maintenance will be an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, solar equipment, and renewable energy technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work at heights and travel to project sites when required
- Valid driving license will be an added advantage
