Senior Lead Engineer - IBM i

JOB PROFILE
- Oversee administration, performance monitoring and optimization of IBM i systems to ensure resilience and high availability.
- Drive adoption of Al technologies and stay current with emerging LLM and AIOps trends to reduce manual effort and modernize data center operations.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting, escalation and end-to-end incident follow-up.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations and scheduled primary / DR site switchovers.
- Manage vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking; enforce IBM i security hardening and ensure governance and regulatory compliance through periodic security reviews, monitoring and adherence to internal and industry standards.
- Ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements, industry best practices and internal policies.
APPLICANT'S PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related field from a UGC approved university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations.
- Proficiency with AlOps tools and platforms is required.
- Experience in IBMI (AS/400) administration / operation is advantageous.
- Sound communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills including attention to details.
