Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and confection of a variety of cakes, cookies, pies and other pastries.
- Follow the recipes and instructions, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Assist in the management of baking ingredient stocks, ensuring freshness and availability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry department in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Participate in the development of new desserts and seasonal offerings under the guidance of senior pastry staff.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent baking/pastry experience
