Technical Officer (Male) | Delgoda
Location - Delgoda
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and execute all civil construction and maintenance works within the factory premises.
- Handle small to medium-scale civil projects, including renovations, extensions, and minor new constructions.
- Monitor and maintain factory buildings, warehouses, drains, roads, flooring, roofs, and boundary walls.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely completion of civil works.
- Prepare work schedules, material requirements, and cost estimates for civil projects.
- Ensure all civil works comply with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify repair or improvement requirements.
- Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities, including plumbing, masonry, painting, and concrete works.
- Maintain proper documentation, including drawings, BOQS, progress reports, and maintenance records. Support management in facility improvement and expansion projects.
- Ensure workplace safety during civil activities and coordinate with the safety team when required.
- Attend emergencies related to structural or civil issues and take immediate corrective action.
Requirements
- Technically qualified in HNDE/ NDT/ NDES (Civil) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 Years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Ability to manage small projects independently
- Good problem-solving and communication skill
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Male candidates are preffered
