Head of Interior & Furniture Design

The Job Functions
- Strategic Leadership: Direct design vision and strategy for retail, turnkey, and bespoke projects.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of designers and CAD draftspersons.
- Client Engagement: Lead high-profile client presentations and consult on bespoke solutions.
- Production & Quality: Partner with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure design integrity, quality, and budget alignment.
- Operations: Optimize workflows, timelines, resource allocation, and departmental KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Furniture Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive design experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior leadership or departmental head role.
- Demonstrated expertise in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray) and design management systems.
- Deep technical mastery of furniture manufacturing joinery details, materials, and finishing techniques.
- Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional team-building capabilities.
- Commercial acumen with a proven track record in client-facing pitch delivery and budget oversight.
