SENIOR EXECUTIVE - DATA PRIVACY

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the organization's data privacy framework, policies, and controls.
• Assist with data privacy assessments, data protection initiatives, and compliance activities.
• Maintain data processing records and support privacy incident and data subject request management.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to implement privacy requirements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support privacy awareness, audits, and reporting.
• Prepare od periodic data privacy compliance reports, dashboards, metrics and action plans for the CISO and senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Information Technology or a related field.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Data Privacy, or Security Governance preferred.
• Knowledge of data protection controls, the Sri Lanka Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022, and security/privacy frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST, GDPR, etc.) will be an advantage.
• Relevant professional certifications (Security+, CEH, SSCP, CDPSE, CIPM, ISO 27001/27701, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills with proficiency in English and Sinhala.
